Triveni Power Transmission Limited (TPTL) was founded in 1976 with a single focus: building high-speed gearboxes for the most demanding industrial applications. Five decades on, that focus has grown into a global presence, with more than 14,000 installations across 80+ countries and a reputation as one of India's largest and most trusted gearbox manufacturers.
We are part of the Triveni Group, one of India's most respected industrial conglomerates, with a legacy spanning nearly a century. This heritage is carried forward in our engineering and our long-term customer relationships. Triveni Power Transmission Limited (TPTL) demerged as an independent listed entity in 2026. We enter our next chapter on the same strong foundation, with a sharper focus on the future.

Our gear systems run in power plants, refineries, compressor trains, hydro stations and naval platforms across 80+ countries, delivering reliable performance in the world's most demanding industrial environments. Our installed base spans 13,750+ units across India and Asia Pacific, 200+ across the Middle East and Europe, 110+ in Africa, 76 in North America, 27 in South America and 10 in Australia.
India remains our engineering and manufacturing base, supporting customers across global industrial markets. With an 80%+ share of the domestic power generation segment and thousands of installations across steel, cement, oil & gas and process industries, India is both our heritage and our largest installed base.
We have built a strong presence across the Asia-Pacific region, serving both developed and emerging industrial markets, with a strong base in India and extensive engagement across Southeast Asia and South Asia.
In the Middle East, we are a trusted supplier for critical energy and process industries, particularly oil & gas and power, supporting leading regional energy and utility operators.
In Africa, we help enable industrial growth and self-reliance. Beyond supplying gearboxes, we support customers in reverse engineering critical equipment, helping them localise solutions, reduce dependence on imports and extend the life of installed assets.
In Europe, we work within a highly advanced, quality-driven industrial ecosystem, collaborating with leading global manufacturers across the continent's most demanding applications.
We have steadily expanded across North and South America, working closely with major manufacturers and industrial customers, including the supply of steam turbine generator gearboxes through leading manufacturers.
